eTaxCanada™ 2006 For Windows is a comprehensive form based tax filing software for the 2006 tax year. In this tax year, it has been extended to support Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Saskatchewan, and all federal personal tax programs except for CAIS (Canadian Agricultural Income Stabilization). It will continue to be free to download and install the software, and to prepare your tax return. However, depending on your net income, you may need to pay a fee for NETFILE and/or to print your paper returns. NETFILE is free for taxpayer if your net income at line 236 of your T1 return is less than $25,000.
